How do I join the lab?
Graduate students
In order to join the lab as a graduate student, you must first apply to the Centre for Neuroscience Studies or the Department of Biomedical and Molecular Sciences at Queen’s University. The application period typically begins in September.
Once you have decided to apply to one of these programs, email emily.oby@queensu.ca for opportunities, and include your CV.
Candidates should have a background in neuroscience, electrical/biomedical engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics or a related field.
If you’re interested in joining the lab as a full-time postdoc or research scientist, please send an email to emily.oby@queensu.ca describing your scientific background, research interests (including how they might align with our lab’s research), and your CV with references.
Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent in neuroscience, engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field. Ideal candidates will have solid programming skills and comfort with linear algebra and statistics.
